Let’s face it kids love Iphones just as much as the parents. But as parents we must do everything we can to protect our children from stumbling across a site, application, or explicit music that may not be suitable for them. We know the dangers associated with internet surfing, and the many predators that lurk around looking to victimize young children. Iphone parental control gives us that freedom.
There are several ways that a parent can have some control over what a child watches or accesses on the Iphone. Luckily, for us parents the Iphone software already installed allows the parent to set restrictions and limitations as to what our children can get their hands into.
There are several applications that have been developed which filter websites and content on the Iphone browser. They are intended to be the eyes of the parents when one is not around. Some are more than filter contents; they actually allow the parent to to have control by blocking certain sites.
Some cell phone providers have plans for the Iphone that sets parental controls. This plan which comes with a monthly cost lets the parent control the minutes, what number can be dialed, and or texted. It also has the option of blocking calls and messages from specific numbers. Once these limits are reached, the phone blocks calls from going out. This limits the kid’s cell phone usage, thus cutting those nasty cell phone bills. You also have the option of setting allowed and emergency numbers that do not get restricted even when limits have been reached.
Providing these restrictions on the Iphone permits the parents to see what their children are up to, and in essence allowing parents to protect them even from afar. Iphone parental control keeps our kids safe.
